As I understand it one of the great things about the Wii is that the SDK
(Software Developers Kit) is only about $2500 compared to most other
gaming systems which are 10K+. Educational institutions may even be able
to get a better deal. Generally with the SDK in hand anyone with
experience developing gaming software should be able to program for it.
It would be fun to see some innovative applications.
