I'm in San Diego. I recommend you call your local Caltrans and California
State Parks offices, and ask to speak to an archaeologist.

I have but I'm not in the loop on how to navigate the websites to find
reports/publications. Do you know how?

Thanks,
Ashley

Hi Ashley,
You've probably thought of this, but Caltrans and California State Parks may
have information of use to you.

Hello,

I am working on a dump site that is related to a camp area in California
that once had cabins, campgrounds, a roadside cafe and auto shop between the
1920s and early 1960s. Can anyone offer resources (of particular interest
are CRM reports) that might help interpret the material culture? Those
resources regarding American motoring and vacation trends would be
especially useful.

Thanks!
Ashley
