MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT
27th Symposium on Ohio Valley Urban and Historic Archaeology,
Saturday, February 28, 2009
Alumni Center, Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana
The 27th Annual Symposium on Ohio Valley Urban and Historic Archaeology,
will convene at the Alumni Center, Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana
on Saturday February 28, 2009.
We seek papers concerning all aspects of regional urban and historical
archaeology. The Symposium is oriented towards providing a forum for formal
papers. To enable as many colleagues as possible to participate actively,
we are seeking short (20 minutes) substantive papers on a one paper per
person basis.
Papers may be submitted for publication in the Symposium's journal, Ohio
Valley Historical Archaeology, edited by Donald B. Ball. Information on the
journal style sheet is available on request from the Editor.
Interested participants are requested to return the registration response
slip (available on the conference web page) as soon as possible, and an
abstract (100 words or less) before February 15, 2009 to Program Chair Mark
Groover (address below). Please present papers in Power Point 2003-2007
compatibility mode on pc format on disk or thumb drive.
