are very alert to the possible presence of undetected AFB spores.  It seems  
odd, therefore, that you should contemplate feeding old dark honey (which  
probably acquired its hue from contact with brood combs) back to bees.  It  is more 
suitable for human consumption (baking and brewing) than for feeding to  bees.
