Subject: Help with bullet ID
Any help would be appreciated. We recovered a bullet and have had some
difficulty identifying it. One person says it's a smoothbore, another says
a Mannlicher. It is a 7.52 mm (.308). There is no military context for it,
and it was recovered in an area of made land (fill from other parts of the
city--Seattle).
If you know about ammunition, let me know off-list and I'll send you an
image of it.
Thanks,
Alicia
