Adee's operation, has regional offices in Bakersfield, Calif.; Cedar Rapids,
Neb., and Woodville, Miss. He hopes the bees that survived California are
resistant to whatever is emptying the hives. "We say we're going to breed
from the survivors because we want to be survivors. That's kind of our motto
now."
