ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

This happened some years ago while I was still working out on the
museum floor. It was a Sunday and I was in the shop making a part,
when a family consisting of a Father, Mother and their 10 year old
daughter came up to talk to me across the wall that separates the
shop from the museum floor.
The Father explained to me that they had built a Cloud Chamber for
his daughter's science project, but that they couldn't get it to
work. They had heard that we had a Cloud Chamber, and asked if could
they go have a look at it to see if they could figure out what they
were doing wrong.

I took them out to our Cloud Chamber. They all looked down into it,
and then the daughter looks up at her Dad and says; "Mine was doing
this!"
