I am delighted to report that I just found out I will be seeing Mahler's
Eighth Symphony in Boston in March.  Since this will be my first experience
with the symphony I intend to prepare.  I've got the score to follow, but
must report that this is the only Mahler Symphony that I do not have on CD.
I suspect that whichever version I purchase will have to last me for a
while; I don't think I'll be able to splurge on a duplicate in the near
future.  Any suggestions?
