Hmm, everybody missed an obvious one - Prokofiev's Classical Symphony.
This is a self-stated emulation of the work of Haydn.  Using the third
movement as an example, the Gavotte form is the "Classical" (actually
Baroque) part, while the harmonies are the "Neo-" part.  Sergei also
exhibits the Baroque trait of self-borrowing - he re-uses the Gavotte
in Romeo and Juliet.
