It's not high enough voltage. You really need 15,000 volts and most oil
burner transformers are 10,000.
Try a small resister in series with the output to limit current to 70 %
of the max rating. Be sure it's a high voltage resister.
Not enough current doing this: Use a 60 MA transformer but be very
careful with this as it's a lot more current than the normal 30 MA
units.

been able to find a unit that doesn't have an internal Ground Fault
device.
We've checked with local shops, etc., but aren't having any luck. If
