…Cloxacillin recorded higher antibacterial activity than ampicillin but
both exerted less antibacterial activity than honey. The therapeutic
application of honey, following clinical trials, should be of relevance
in treating bacterial infections and, in particular, those due to the
two Staphylococcus species tested.
