Hey,
Has anyone done an exhibit explaining how local topography impacts ones
ability to generate power from wind energy? We thought about doing a scale
model. We were thinking of making a wind tunnel like structure with little
turbines some on hills and others in valleys. However we have been told by
experts that wind doesn't really scale down very well and that the
topography would have to so exaggerated that is wouldn't really look real.
So that solution is probably out.
Any ideas on alternative display techniques or other things that you have
tried would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
