SENIOR PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR
ARCHAEOLOGY
Gray & Pape, Inc., a national Cultural Resources Management consulting firm, has an opening in its Providence office for a Senior Principal Investigator - Archaeology. An M.A. in Anthropology, History or related field (Ph.D. preferred) and extensive experience in CRM project management is required. Experience in the Northeast U.S. is essential.
The Senior Principal Investigator is responsible for the management of multiple and/or multi-disciplinary CRM projects and is involved in the development, maintenance, and management of markets and clients. This position requires expert knowledge of the Section 106 review process and the ability to prepare well organized, thorough CRM documents is essential. Experience with pipeline projects and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission CRM procedure is essential.
Communication skills and an ability to effectively supervise people are a must. Basic computer skills (i.e., word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs) are essential. Other skills that will be given serious consideration include preservation planning, material culture analysis, GIS, statistical/spatial analysis, and floral or faunal analysis.
