Dear all,
I am in need of a stratigraphy image for an archaeology exhibit on relative and absolute dating methods in archaeology. The image will be mounted in an exhibit case and may also be used in a companion website for educational use. I would like the image to include clear depositional layers with distinct color differences and visible artifacts throughout. I would prefer a feature profile from a cistern or well, but I could also use a large trench profile with deposits ranging from prehistoric to historic periods.
If you are willing to supply an image or two, please send them to me via email attachment and let me know how each image should be credited. The images need to be 300 dpi or greater and sent as TIF or JPG files. I cannot offer any payment for use, but a drink at the next SHA meeting in Baltimore can be arranged.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Tim
