Charlie Rinehart
Lansing
Born on October 26, 1962, in Durand to Forrest and Jo Ann Rinehart,
passed away January 23, 2011 at the age of 48. Charlie attended and
graduated from Mason Public Schools and received his Bachelor of Arts
degree from Alma College and his Master's from the University of
South Carolina. He worked as an Archaeologist for the University of
South Carolina for 5 years. Most recently, he has been a Senior
Archaeologist with the Louis Berger Company since 1994. Charlie
loved MSU sports, photography, traveling, roses and country music,
especially singer Shania Twain. Charlie was ordained as an elder and
a deacon for the Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by
his father, Forrest in 1985. He is survived by his mother, Jo Ann.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 26, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East
Lansing. A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 27, at
11:00 am at the Presbyterian Church of Okemos, 2258 Bennett Road,
Okemos, MI 48864. Those desiring may make contributions to the
Presbyterian Church of Okemos in memory of Charlie.
