Dear List-Members,

I'm looking for more information on a San Francisco Municipal Railway token.
The one we are looking at is identical to those in the following pictures-

http://www.flickr.com/photos/cbcastro/196816746/in/photostream/ - and is
similarly tarnished.

From what I've gleaned from a bit of internet research, these were first
minted either "in the 1930's" or in 1945, and then produced up until
2004. And from looking at all the pictures of these tokens, it seems that
their design wasn't altered in the slightest throughout all those years.

Does anyone know more about these- especially, when exactly they were first
minted, and whether there are any dateable physical markers among them?
