George Miller has mentioned the existence of transfer printed children's
motto plates. So I looked around online and found plates of this type that
closely resemble the example that I have complete with the clobbered
coloring and similar scenes that range in date to the 1820s-1850s period.
Has anyone come across motto plates before?
