A little note from the past!

> Dr C.C. Miller of Marengo, Ill., who is regarded as the American authority on bees, has harvested 18,150 Ibs. of honey from 124 colonies. However, his warning is that the man whose sole aim is the accumulation of wealth would better let bees alone; but all bee keepers agree that health, pleasure and a comfortable living are found in intelligently raising honeybees.

> Profit in animal raising, like profit in all other lines of business, depends largely upon the time and attention given to it and the willingness of the worker to study, to observe and to profit by experience.
