I learned a simple reason for this. We noticed that in some cases honeybees
collect fir pollen just the same way as they collect normal pollen. We
could take fir pollen from a pollen trap places in front of the hive and
confirm the find with microscope.
When bees bring it home you get a lot also in honey.
Maybe they also collect other wind pollinated pollen. Any other confirmed
cases ?
