Since, for the first time since I have kept bees, I am beeless, I figured to make good use of the time between
being beeless and bee arrival (two nucs) in mid-May.
I would love to play Joe Waggle and capture any, if there are any, feral bees in the area during this time. I
have my doubts, but it would be interesting if there are any out there. There are probably no managed hives
within two (or even more) miles. Varroa thinned the other beekeepers out long ago.
I am in the country with lots of woods and open fields. My question to this august and learned group is how
would you go about it in that about one month time frame?
