Hi Jeremy
One ref is
Lewis, Stanley. 1971. Infantillia: The Archaeology of the Nursery. London. Dennis Dobson.
It might be a hard one to come across though. There are several journal articles written in regards baby feeders of which I do have copies, unfortunately they are now packed away and I am unable to put my hands on them. I haven't personally seen any in relation to dental caries, all I have seen largely focus on deaths often caused by the use of non-sterile bottles to the point at least one brand or 'type' was outlawed. All the articles I came across were found using JSTOR, google scholar etc. Hope this helps in some way.
Cheers
Jennifer Low

Greetings,
I was curious if anybody out there knows of any good
references for 19th century baby bottles and infant
feeders. Also, and references discussing baby bottles
in relationship to dental caries.
Best,
