Victor Ullmann was executed by the Nazis in 1942, having been interned
at Terezin concentration camp. Under remarkable circumstances he composed
several pieces including a parody of Hitler-Der Kaiser von Atlantis. His
works have been of increased interest. For a good list of Ullmann's output
both prewar and in the camp try HBdirect web site. You may also find the
following website of interest.
