Amended 771 passed committee and has been revamped providing for planting
locations and 'best practice'
of seedless Mandarin to be determined by 'work group' comprised of
representatives
of the bee industry, growers and academia. Troublesome is the bill now
authorizes the Secretary
of Agriculture to have final say in the event of a conflict.

Something tells me that variable will put the needs of beekeepers at risk.

CSBA is remaining in opposition.

Regards,

Kathy
