Mary,

For my last job I needed to use some project management software to
create Gantt charts and such. I didn't want to buy MS Projects for what
I saw as a minor need and after looking around, found Open Workbench (
http://www.openworkbench.org/ ). I'm not sure how it compares to all
the other software out there, but it did what I needed and is a free
(and legal) download. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Hello,

I am looking for project management software, and was wondering if
anyone had advice about which program is the best to use. If you have
had any experience with project management software that was wonderful
or horrible could you let me know? We are looking for a program with
which we can collaborate with our partner organizations in different
states; we will primarily use the software to post documents, timelines,
and discussion forums.

Any suggestions or advice would be very helpful.

Thank you,

-Mary Frances Davidson
