Hello Juan Carlos,
We use our Smart Board daily to present interactive programs to visitors and for staff, adult volunteer and youth training sessions. Advantages-interactive, expands programming capabilities, fun! Disadvantages-Our Smart Board is kept in a storage closet, so we have to bring it to the floor each day. Also, the screen is easily scratched, so we ask visitors to use the pens to write on the board.

Subject: "Smart Board" in Sci Ctr Classrooms?

ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers

Has anyone used what is called a "Smart Board" (by Smart Technologies) at any
science center classroom? Any feedback regarding the Smart Board's
performance, advantages/ disadvantages in a sci. ctr. classroom will be very
useful. We are considering acquiring Smart Boards for classrooms where we
will conduct workshops for school groups, teachers, and other museum classes.

Thank you,
