"I have received a request to disassociate Jeff Pettis, Jay Evans, and
Dennis van Engelsdorp from 'An open letter regarding Colony Collapse
Disorder and science' forwarded to BEE-L on Saturday, September 22,
2007. As public employees of federal and state governments, there is a
risk that their association with this letter could lead readers to
believe that the views represented reflect opinions held by their
respective agencies.  They do not."
