We are trying to find the best plant to use for a short timeframe plant
respiration activity. The goal is to show the difference in gas transfer
during light and dark cycles. We are using Vernier data collection sensors
to measure the O2 and CO2 exchanged. This activity works well when you have
15-30 minutes but we need to make it work in a 5 minute time span. Does
anyone have experience working with hearty plants that can transition from a
dark cycle to a light cycle quickly?
