How much do you think your view of the situation is the result of
archaeologists not even venturing near, let along giving papers at,
professional historical society conferences like the SHA or the WHA, or
anyother HA?
Seems to me that if you're trying to sell a car, you better go where the
buyers are and show them how much they need to buy your car.
