Dear Stacy,
Scientific American Frontiers did a good episode on the archaeology of
slavery "Unearthing Secret America." It is also via pbs:
http://www.pbs.org/saf/previous.htm Scroll down to season 13.
I've used it in undergrad classes of all levels and it works well.
Best,
Anna

Subject: PBS Video - Finding a Copy?
Dear List Members,
I'm trying to track down a copy of the PBS presentation "Slavery's
Buried Past" for a summer session
class. Can anyone suggest where I might be able to obtain one? PBS
doesn't seem to sell copies, and
our university library does not have it.
Alternately, suggestions of good historical archaeology related videos
that you've used successfully
in teaching are very welcome.
Thanks for any ideas,
Stacy Kozakavich
