It could not be better expressed.  The piece is magical for reasons which
I find difficult to explain.  There is a most enticing blend of freshness,
nostalgia and transparency to it.  Rontgen was obviously using a very
old-fashioned language for those years but at no point can we really
think that "it had been done before".
