Palisades Virtuosi In Concert on October 22 in Elizabeth, New Jersey,
Featuring New Work by Frank Ezra Levy
Ridgewood, NJ - The critically-acclaimed Palisades Virtuosi will
present a program of chamber works by German and American composers
on Sunday, October 22 - 3:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church,
42 Broad Street in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
This concert will feature Frank Ezra Levy's Trio #2 for flute,
clarinet & piano. The Virtuosi will also present Brahms' Sonata Op.
120 No.2 in Eb Major for clarinet & piano, Walter Geiseking's
Sonatine for Flute & Piano, C.P.E. Bach's Trio #3 in G Major for
flute clarinet & piano and Michael Webster's "Magic Flute" Fantasy -
a fantasy on themes from Mozart's The Magic Flute. Every concert by
the Palisades Virtuosi includes a work commissioned for the ensemble.

Composer Frank Ezra Levy has more than 90 published works to his
credit, including 4 Symphonies and a large variety of chamber works
for diverse combinations of instruments. His 3rd Symphony was
premiered at Carnegie Hall in 1989. In July '94, Levy's 4th Symphony
was recorded for MMC Records by the Bratislava Radio Orchestra and
released in 1995. Four of his orchestral work, including his 2nd
Cello Concerto, were recorded in 2004 by the Irish National Orchestra
for Naxos Records, and were released in 2005 on the American Masters series.
The Palisades Virtuosi, consisting of flutist Margaret Swinchoski,
clarinetist Donald Mokrynski and pianist Ron Levy, was established to
promote and enrich the repertoire for flute, clarinet and piano and
presents concerts that include existing and newly-commissioned
repertoire for this configuration, supplemented by solos, duos and
larger works featuring guest artists. Volume One of their New
