Hello everyone...
This summer, I'm teaching a summer workshop for fourth and fifth grade students at my school. As part of the program, we will be planting a native plant rain garden. As part of this project, I would like to students to gain an understanding of the positive benefits that native plants and rain gardens have on the local and larger watersheds. I'm planning the whole three week program by myself, and would rather not recreate the wheel.
Does anyone know of any material resources, books, or websites that would be of use in this endeavor?
Also, does anyone who has done a habitat improvement project before have any pointers that could help me?
Thanks for your help,
Bethany Swiston
