I don't think there have been any archaeological investigations anywhere
on the island, and since the place has been the base of some kind of
treasure hunting investigation since about 1849, I don't know if there's
anything left intact. It's privately owned at present, as it has been
for many years, and access is tightly controlled. The following link
provides an interesting assessment of much of the story surrounding the
island, and the very aptly named Money Pit.
