Journal of Medicinal Food, 2007, 10(2): 276-280
http://apitherapy.blogspot.com/2007/07/bee-pollen-may-promote-early.html

organs were evaluated in broiler chickens…

These findings suggest that bee pollen could promote the early
development of the digestive system and therefore is a potentially
beneficial food supplement for certain conditions, such as short bowel
syndrome.
