This video shows a clear chart of consequences of a) not acting and
significant human-induced CC happening [no money spent, Worst effects on
humans, etc.] b) acting and significant CC happening [money spent and
Bad, but not as bad effects on humans, etc. as a)] c) acting and
significant CC NOT happening (ie. the overwhelming consensus of
scientists being wrong) [We spend some money and get new technology] or
d) not acting and significant CC NOT happening [no change, no money
spent] - the whole ~10 minutes is good to watch, but the chart starts
about 1:30 in. The basic question: can we afford to take the risk that
significant CC is not happening?
For climate scientists' rebuttals of the arguments of the few dissenters
(whose arguments are simply recycled over and over again, though they've
been disproven by the science), check out this posting (below). Though
the answers are compiled by an amateur, they are endorsed by major
climate scientists at realclimate.org (another resource if you want to
