Here are the current planning times for Barbara Morgan and crewmates
to have live conversations with students on the ground. Others may
watch on NASA TV or over the internet. Note that mission events may
change this schedule, which is posted at
http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/mission_schedule.html. Please
check it for updates.

Aug 14, 5:09 EDT: NASA Astronaut and teacher Barbara R. Morgan,
along with crew members Alvin Drew, Dave Williams and Clay Anderson,
will make a special telephone call to Idaho students from the
International Space Station, more than 200 miles above the Earth. The
downlink from the space station is scheduled for Aug. 14, 2007 at
2:09 p.m. PDT.

Aug 16, 8:51 a.m. EDT: NASA's Teaching From Space Office, at the
Johnson Space Center, Houston, and the Challenger Center for Space
Science Education in
Alexandria, Va., will host a 20-minute live conversation with STS-118
mission specialists Barbara R. Morgan and Rick Mastracchio. From
their perch aboard the International Space Station, Morgan and
Mastracchio will answer 20 questions from student winners of a
national poster contest held by the Challenger Center.

Aug. 19, 7:56 a.m. EDT. Live conversation with Robert L. Ford NASA
Explorer School, Lynn, Massachusetts.

Aug 21, 11:56 a.m. EDT. Educational event with Canadian Space Agency.

For information on accessing NASA TV, see
http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/MM_NTV_Breaking.html (note that
these events will also be internet accessible)

For information about the flight of STS-118, see
http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/shuttle/shuttlemissions/sts118/index.html

For information about Educational Resources related to STS-118,
including these downlinks, see

Let me know (off list) if your organization does any activities
related to STS-118 and I will share that information with the
Teaching in Space office and hopefully with the STS-118 crew.
