As a female scientist of nearly 50 (and still only 50 kgs), I think 
that the calendar is terrific.

And I also think it's terrible... well actually pretty much all of 
the pictures are fairly harmless, now, aren't they?

On the one hand, I think that the message that female scientists are 
"normal" (attractive, and with appetites of all sorts) people is a 
very important one.

On the OTHER hand, encouraging communication between the genders on a 
non-reasoning level doesn't really help the issue.
