ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

We have our plasma ball and a plasma disk within arms reach and had one
report of someone touching both and reporting a shock. I strongly
suspect in our case and most likly in yours it was static related. We
were never able to duplicate it.

The problem seems to occur when a visitor is touching the plasma ball and another visitor comes up and they make contact resulting in a shock between the people. Has anyone had any similar situations occur and if so how have you handled it?
