Interpretation at the New England Aquarium

9:00-3:00 (breakfast at 8:30)

Boston, Massachusetts

 

Learn how New England Aquarium staff conveys its messages to a range of visitors and groups, including, toddlers, families, teens, teachers and school groups.  This workshop is presented in collaboration with the National Association for Interpretation.

 

The day will include time to visit the aquarium with an experienced educator, a behind-the-scenes visit and the opportunity to choose from a variety of hands-on workshops in the afternoon. The fee for the day is $35.00 for NAI members; and $57.50 for non-NAI members (fee for non-members includes 6-month NAI associate membership). A light breakfast is included in the cost. You may bring your own lunch, enjoy a meal in the aquarium Café or visit the food vendors at nearby historic Quincy Market.
