Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

The National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) has two awards that honor
exemplary informal science educators.  The Distinguished Informal Science
Education Award highlight extraordinary contributions to the advancement of
science education through an informal or nontraditional school setting.  The
other award is the Faraday Science Communicator Award that recognizes an
individual or organization that has inspired and elevated the public's interest
and appreciation of science. 

More information on both of these awards, along with the nomination
applications, can be found on the NSTA website at

The deadline for these applications is October 15, 2007. 

Please consider nominating well deserved people who are appropriate candidates
for each of these awards.  Self nominations are also accepted.
