I haven't ever used them on the museum floor - because I saw them for
the first time at the exhibitor hall in Louisville, but Rokenbok sets
looked interesting and fairly cheap. Plus intuitive to control - they're
manipulated wirelessly with a controller that looks an awful lot like my
N64 one. www.rokenbok.com has more.

Now if only they would heckle bad movies,

I cannot stress enough that nearly without exception one cannot randomly
combine a collection of circuitry and power supplies into an object and
"accidentally discover" that it is a fully functioning death ray. I
speak here from bitter experience.

Hello

I am currently designing an exhibit which will be called "Inventor's
Lab"
and we are looking into the possibility of using robotics within the
exhibit. Some that we have looked at are Lego Mindstorms, Crickets, and
the
Sandwich Robot. I was curious to see if any other museum had any
experience
with any of these robots and what their experiences were such as
durability,
public opinion, cost effectiveness, etc, etc. I am also open to any
other
robot ideas that I may not know about. Thanks!
