Today Wisconsin Public Radio Classical Music Network broadcast an
interview with Nadia Salerno Sonnenberg from the studios in Madison.
She had just come from nearby Oregon High School where she had had a
session with 100 students--all reasonably conversant with classical
music. In her interview, though, she noted and lamented the tendency
of school administrators to cut arts education first whenever the budget
situation was tough, even though, in her view, arts education was essential
to a full education. She ended with a plug for her own new label NSS
Music--coming next month--with website under construction, nss.com.
