I've only heard him conduct in Cincinnati once. On that occasion he
did Beethoven 7 stringing the movements together last beat to first.
If those are the kind of results he's oriented toward, I'll pass, thank
you. On the other hand, the band was razor-sharp and Music Hall is a
fine, fine place. Not only that, there was a free spaghetti supper
before the concert.
