I am not having a go or criticising you Joe. I was just curious to see if
the genetics were different and thanks for your reply. Re the ferals, I
have been following the postings on this. For us ferals are not really an
option as they are basically from the old English bee Apis mellifera
mellifera and do not produce a lot of honey before swarming. If we ever get
varroa and they stand up to varroa then we may have to reassess our
thinking.
