Jenny,

Many years ago the Central Institute for the Deaf had a booth set up
in the St. Louis Science Center for several months in order to
collect data on speech patterns in order to develop interpretive
devices that would understand dialect, speech variation, etc. They
may have traveled it to other public venues. Their address is:

Central Institute for the Deaf
4560 Clayton Ave
St Louis, MO 63110
(314) 977-0132
