ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************
I have a few questions about using the internet to supplement, expand
and enrich visitor experiences in your museum/institution:
1. Does your institution use social networking technologies (like
YouTube, Flickr, Facebook, or ones you have created yourselves) in
engaging and/or learning from visitors? If so, which ones and do you
like the results?
2. If you answered "no" to question 1, why? (I'm interested in the
roadblocks that museum practitioners have encountered in adopting
this technology, be it financial, staffing, philosophical, etc)
I'm happy to take answers off-line.
Thanks!
