Just in case anyone's interested...


The Credit Crunch is having a serious impact on what's left of the Staffordshire pottery industry.


Wedgwood (strictly  speaking, Waterford Wedgwood - which also owns Royal Doulton) has gone into administration (ie, is essentially bankrupt); news stories at:

Spode (which also owns Royal Worcester) went into administration in November, and is struggling to find a buyer.  At least part of their iconic Church Street factory is up for sale for development:
