For those of you who know Iris Engstrand, Ph.D., you will be interested to  
learn that Ambassador Inocencio Arias, Consul General of Spain in Los Angeles,  
knighted her on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at the 26th Annual Fort 
Guijarros  Fiesta. Illustrisima Senora Dona Iris received the Order of Isabella 
Catolica  for her exceptional service to Spain. For those who do not know Iris, she 
has  published twenty-one books on the Spanish Southwest and is a consultant 
to a  number of on-going research projects in this part of the world.
