The Winthrop Rockefeller Archaeology Museum and Wolstenholme Towne are
all part of the 400 acres that is Carter's Grove. The Grove has been
closed "for repairs" for several years. Seems to be poor timing, though,
what with the 400th year anniversary of the settlement at Jamestown and
all.

Is the wonderful underground museum on Martin's Hundred going too? This
was done by Ivor Noel hume and is certainly
worth seeing (as well as the site itself). dgo
