according to last weekend's Classic FM Hall of Fame: Vaughn William's
Lark Ascending.  2nd= Rach pc 2.  3rd=VW Theme on Thomas Tallis etc etc.
Listened whilst I was painting the lounge ceiling.

They did play wonderful recordings of the Bach double concerto and
Mendelssohn concerto with Daniel Hope.  Must look out for these CDs!!
